'Terriers' Trailer: Donal Logue Gets His Gumshoe On In FX's New Series

Donal Logue and Michael Raymond-James are teaming up for some gumshoe action in the new FX series 'Terriers.' The new dramedy, from 'Ocean's Eleven' scribe Ted Griffin and 'The Shield' creator Shawn Ryan, stars Logue ('Life') and Raymond-James ('True Blood') as a pair of low rent P.I.s trying to eek out a living on the lesser-traveled streets of San Diego.
Zap2it has posted the first official trailer for the show, which looks like it's trying to strike a delicate balance between its two creators' distinct storytelling styles.
The clip starts out fast and funny, not unlike a USA show or an 'Oceans' movie, but the latter half promises heavy character drama, some grisly crime stories, and a confident lead performance from Logue. (It's about time he got another meaty role.)
'Terriers' debuts Sept. 8 on FX.
