by Alicia Roda, posted Aug 17th 2010 4:10PM
Season one of ABC's hilarious hit comedy 'Cougar Town,' starring Golden Globe nominee Courteney Cox, officially hits stores Tuesday, Aug. 17. The sitcom follows a forty-something, recently divorced mother (Cox) dealing with the trials and tribulations of dating, parenting and friendship.

With bonus features including exclusive footage -- giving viewers a look at the show's quirky masterminds and comedic stars at work on and off camera -- deleted scenes, bloopers and more, this DVD release is as spicy as you'd expect.

Not only do we have five copies to give away, we also have an exclusive clip from the hot new release.

Watch the clip:

Appropriately titled 'Courtney the Cougar,' the behind the scenes clip features co-executive producers/creators Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biega dishing on Cox as a 'Cougar' on TV.

No, they should not the name...people are familiar with the title. The title doesn't make much sense which is exactly why they should keep it. It's oddly funny.

Don't change the name...it has taken a somewhat derogetory term, and made it something fun, and being a cougar is now sort of a badge of honor.

I think they should keep the name, since a name change only makes confusion

Keep the name-Curiosity killed the cat...I think new viewers will want see the program just to see what it is about...satisfaction brought it back. People need to remember it is a sit-com and enjoy it for what it is.
