Comic Book Legend Stan Lee to Guest on 'Eureka'
It's not as if Syfy's 'Eureka' is lacking in geek cred, but they'll peg the meter next season when, according to TVGuide.com, Stan Lee will make a cameo appearance. The show, about a town built to house and nurture America's most promising scientific geniuses, was just renewed for a fifth season. The comic book legend joins an already crowded list of guest stars, including Ming-Na ('Stargate Universe'), Wil Wheaton ('Star Trek: The Next Generation'), Jamie Kennedy ('Ghost Whisperer'), Chris Parnell ('Saturday Night Live'), Felicia Day ('The Guild'), and former show regulars Ed Quinn and Matt Frewer, who also recently guest starred on 'True Blood' and 'Supernatural,' respectively.
Lee is no stranger to cameos. You can catch a glimpse of the legendary comic book writer in various film adaptations of characters he helped create, like Spider-Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, Daredevil, and the upcoming Thor movie.
On TV, he has turned up as himself everywhere from 'Entourage' to 'The Big Bang Theory.' He also had his own reality show, 'Who Wants to Be a Superhero,' which ran for two seasons.
There was no confirmation on who or what Lee will be playing, but he should fit right in with the rest of the creative geniuses in town. An inventor, perhaps?
'Eureka' fans, what would you like to see Stan "The Man" doing on the show?
