'Access Hollywood' Launches New 'Live' Show

Kit Hoover is going from reality TV star to reality TV reporter. The 'Road Rules' season 1 contestant has landed a gig as co-host of the new entertainment chat show 'Access Hollywood Live.'

The show's producers didn't have to look too far to find a Regis for Hoover's Kelly. According to the Hollywood Reporter, 'Access Hollywood' anchor Billy Bush will pull double duty as co-host of the new show, premiering Sept. 13.

The daytime show will cover all the latest entertainment and pop culture buzz with news and opinion pieces, plus in-studio guests, and female-friendly segments.

"Billy Bush and Kit Hoover make a terrific pair -- engaging, lively and knowledgeable. As the 'Access Hollywood Live' team, they will bring a fresh new approach to daytime," said executive producer Rob Silverstein.

'Access Hollywood Live' will start small, airing on only a handful of NBC and Fox stations, plus one indie station in Cleveland. The show eventually hopes to join the mothership 'Access Hollywood,' which premieres its 15th season next month, with national syndication.

Bush also hosts his own radio show, 'The Billy Bush Show,' and Hoover's last gig was hosting 'Shaq Vs.' on ABC.
