Jimmy Fallon Wants Your Tweets For the Emmys Telecast

by Ryan McKee, posted Aug 24th 2010 4:30PM
In an effort to reduce the work of his writing staff (or maybe just to get rid of half of them?), Emmy Awards' host Jimmy Fallon is asking Twitter users to compose the introductions he'll use for up to 15 Emmy presenters. That is nearly half of the lineup. As payment, he will mention the user's name during their selected introduction tweet.

He offers this as an example: "@blahblahblah says Jon Hamm is the hottest guy of all time. Here he is, Jon Hamm."

The full list of Emmy presenters will be announced on NBC's website tomorrow, along with Twitter links to enter introductions. However, we know our readers will want to get a jump on this, so here are the celebrities that have already been announced: Anna Paquin and Stephen Mayer, Jon Hamm, Matthew Morrison, Eva Longoria Parker, Will Arnett, Stephen Colbert, Edie Falco, Tina Fey, Laurence Fishburne, Ricky Gervais, January Jones, Matthew Perry, Sofia Vergara, John Krasinski, Julianna Margulies, Keri Russell and LL Cool J.

"@tvsquad writes, Don't piss off this next presenter's mama or he'll knock you out. Here's LL Cool J."

Okay, we're still working on it. The Emmys don't air until Sun., Aug. 29, at 8PM ET.
