Just when you were starting to get over the post-traumatic stress of losing 'Lost' to the annals of television history, the show sucks you back in.

If one DVD could be the most anticipated of the entire summer, this is it.
Hitting store shelves today is the sixth and final season of 'Lost' on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Why such a big deal? The DVD has a special epilogue episode, which shows life on the island with Hurley and Ben in charge. Providing everyone some extra meat and potatoes to start rehashing 'Lost' theories at the dining room table tonight.

I have to agree with Cindy about season six vs 1-5. I thought time would make my heart grow fonder of the season six finale but it hasn't. If any thing I only get madder when I think about what an entire waste the final season was.

Basically half of the entire season is "filler" for the final two hours. The show was interesting because of the mysteries on the island. Not because I wanted to find out who Kate was going to choose.

Some have stated, the majority who do not like the last season it is because we wanted everything spelled out. That is not the case, a little intrigue and leaving the some mysteries unsolved would have been fine. I wanted a final season which focused on the island. A season which set up the final battle between Widmore and Ben over final control.

Bottom line, if someone asked me if the show was worth watching from start to finish I would have a hard time saying yes.

I do not want Season 6 in my DVD collection, I never want to watch it again! Seasons 1-5 were wonderful. I am, however, interested in seeing what Darlton's excuses are for destroying their own show, so I will borrow it from the library so I can hear their commentaries.
