'The Colbert Report' Wins an Emmy and Stephen Takes All the Credit (VIDEO)

"I DID IT!" That's the message that flashes on the screen during 'The Colbert Report' (weeknights, 11:30PM ET on Comedy Central). And then -- as always happens when Stephen Colbert is celebrating anything on the show -- multi-colored balloons tumble to the ground. Yay! Something good has happened! But what is that good thing?

Well, the good news is that the 'Colbert Report' won the 2010 Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. So basically, the writers on the show won. But since Stephen is Stephen, he decides to hog all the glory for himself.

Here's the speech that Stephen makes after getting the news of "his" Emmy: "Yes! I have supped on the flesh of mine enemies! And drunk the heady wine of victory! A legion of angels will anoint my naked body with fragrant unguents." Ah, excellent. Good to see that success isn't going to his head, or anything like that.
