The Swimsuit Competition - and the Winner of 'Miss Universe 2010'It's time for 'The 2010 'Miss Universe Pageant' (Mon., 9PM ET on NBC). But who will be the winner? Oddsmakers predicted that Miss Ireland would walk away with the crown: but would that actually happen?

But before we even get to the winner, let's deal with the only reason that most people watch this show: the swimsuit competition! It's a little pointless for us to describe the swimsuit section of the show, but if you continue on to the next part of the article, then you can watch a video of the hottest women in the world dancing around in bikinis. So; there's that.

Okay! And now that you've watched the bikini section, it's time to get to the winner ...

[Spoiler alert.]

... Miss Ireland did not win the pageant. Instead, 22-year-old Jimena Navarrete, of Mexico, is the new 'Miss Universe.' Mexico wins! The runner-up was Yendi Phillipps, 24, from Jamaica.

The show was co-hosted by Bret Michaels -- who has only recently recovered from a brain hemorrhage. It's good to see that Bret's doing okay these days, and of course, he's no stranger to hanging out with a bunch of random sexy women.

After Jimena won the crown, fellow host Natalie Morales asked her what she was thinking. This was Jimena's reply: "No puedo pensar nada." Translated, this basically means: "My mind is a blank."

So, there you go. Her mind was a blank. But she still won. Congrats, Ms. Navarrete!

How typical of the media. Give the poor girl a break and quit trying to demean her... how lame!!!
