Mika Brzezinski Smacks Joe Scarborough for Making Fun of Carter Administration (VIDEO)

The crazy kids on 'Morning Joe' (Weekdays, 6AM ET on MSNBC) were at it again Thursday morning when a discussion about presidential vacation habits turned into a one-sided slap-fight.

Defending President Obama's Martha's Vineyard trip, Mika Brzezinski brought up her childhood experiences of going on vacations when her father was serving in the Carter administration. Even when Presidents go on vacation, there is no real time off, she argued.

Her explanation wasn't good enough for Joe Scarborough, who immediately began mocking Mika, Jimmy Carter and a few of Carter's cabinet members. In defense, Mika gave Joe a few hard smacks to the chest.

"In case viewers can't see this, those are real hits," offered panelist Andrew Ross Sorkin.

After a brief reprieve from his mockery, Joe continued to make fun of the Carter administration. "Maybe it would've been better if they took more time off."

Mika's hand must have been sore after her initial barrage of blows, because when she resumed beating Joe, she did so with a manila folder.
