Tim must be superhuman. There's no other way to explain what happened to him on 'Stan Lee's Superhumans' (Thu.,10PM ET on HIST). A doctor shows the man a graph charting his body's autonomic nervous system and the two responses to pain: fight or flight and healing and growing, which are thought to be impossible to override.

The graph shows Tim in a state of calm. Then he proceeds to (very graphically) stick a skewer through his arm. He feels no pain, and his body doesn't bleed.

The doctor examines the chart. At the very least, his heart-rate would be racing and blood pressure increased. It's almost unchanged. Is he superhuman?!
