A Skewer Through an Arm Is Painless on 'Stan Lee's Superhumans' (VIDEO)

Tim must be superhuman. There's no other way to explain what happened to him on 'Stan Lee's Superhumans' (Thu.,10PM ET on HIST). A doctor shows the man a graph charting his body's autonomic nervous system and the two responses to pain: fight or flight and healing and growing, which are thought to be impossible to override. The graph shows Tim in a state of calm. Then he proceeds to (very graphically) stick a skewer through his arm. He feels no pain, and his body doesn't bleed.
The doctor examines the chart. At the very least, his heart-rate would be racing and blood pressure increased. It's almost unchanged. Is he superhuman?!
