'Big Brother 12' - Head of Household Spoilers
Last night's 'Big Brother 12' live double eviction show ended on yet another cliffhanger. Sure, there was a lot of action in the episode itself -- an eviction, a Head of Household competition, nominations, a Power of Veto competition and then a second eviction. That would leave us with a Head of Household who has no duties for the week unless ... there's another HoH competition. Unlike the normal weeks, the HoH comp won't be aired live. It will air on Sunday's episode. But it's already a done deal in reality. You can wait until Sunday to find out or you can keep on reading.
Beware -- extreme spoilers ahead!
On Wednesday night, prior to the big double eviction, the hamsters were given a catapult, some liquid-filled small soccer balls, and a wooden frame doohickey to practice for a competition. Ragan calls it a teeter-totter challenge. This, of course, showed on the live feeds, but not on the show itself. When the comp didn't come into play on Thursday night on the live show, I knew it would be the new HoH competition.
In practice, Hayden was the best at it. Ragan and Britney hated it and dreaded its coming into play. They had good reason. They were both inept at it and, although Hayden can't play as outgoing HoH (boy, that went fast!), there's still Lane and Enzo to deal with. Well, Lane, at least. Enzo doesn't seem like he can win anything except a darn good social game.
After the live show ended, the hamsters had to wait for about an hour and a half as the staff cleaned up the yard from the Thursday show and set up for the new competition. As usual, when it comes to these "secret games," the live feeds were blocked. After a couple hours, they returned and we have a new Head of Household.
Lane finally got his first competition win in the game. This is an important one, for sure. This will steer the Brigade Boys into the final four, then they have an excellent chance to make it to the final three. It should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway -- we can expect Britney and Ragan on the block this week with Ragan being the main target. If one of them wins the Power of Veto and comes off the block, a Brigade member will go up but either Ragan or Britney will go home. Then they just have to win one more HoH and they're sitting pretty.
