Despite Winning Bet, Glenn Beck Won't Replace Bill O'Reilly In Fox's 8PM Slot (VIDEO)
On Glenn Beck's radio show last week, he mentioned that Bill O'Reilly was skeptical that Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally would draw more than 20,000 people. O'Reilly told Beck that if he ended up drawing over 100,000 to the rally, Beck could "anchor the 8 PM show."On Monday's 'The O'Reilly Factor' (weeknights, 8 PM ET on Fox News) Beck presented O'Reilly with a large photo of the crowd and O'Reilly conceded that Beck had drawn more than the magic number of 100,000.
So what of the bet? "You can do (The Factor) anytime you want," Bill said, clearly not being serious. "I'll take your dopey time slot at five."
Even if O'Reilly won't be handing over his prime time reigns, he was unusually effusive in his praise for Beck:
"I want to congratulate you," O'Reilly told the Beckster. "I don't think there is anybody in the country that could mobilize that many people at this point in time. I don't think there is anyone else. You know, besides Pamela Anderson."
We're just going to assume that O'Reilly's odd Pamela Anderson quip is in reference to the fact that many Americans like boobs.
