Meghan McCain: Sarah Palin Brought Drama and Panic to 2008 Campaign (VIDEO)
Meghan McCain was on 'Good Morning America' (Weekdays, 7 AM ET on ABC) Tuesday to promote her new book "Dirty Sexy Politics," and she had some interesting things to say about Sarah Palin.McCain confirmed to George Stephanopoulos that she believed Palin -- who she had avoided talking about since the election -- ended up hurting her dad's presidential campaign, although added "we did not lose because of her."
"I'm speaking out now because I do have conflicting feelings about (Palin)," Meghan explained. "She brought so much momentum and enthusiasm to the campaign. You saw the crowds double and you saw a lot more women coming to the rallies."
"But you also wrote that she brought 'drama, stress, complications, panic and loads of uncertainty,' Stephanopoulos reminded her.
"It's true," Meghan confirmed, with a laugh.
Meghan did not rule out supporting Palin, if she were to be the 2012 GOP nominee. However, when the subject of the next presidential election came up, McCain quickly mentioned that she thought Mitt Romney was "doing a lot of smart things."
That sounds to us like a dirty sexy endorsement.
