Celebrities Deny 'Dancing With the Stars' Snubs
Bummed that Joel McHale passed on the chance to join the cast of 'Dancing With the Stars' season 11? Well, don't be -- because he didn't.The 'Community' actor's representative told E! Online that he was never asked. "...It is 100 percent false that he was offered a spot on this year's show."
The Hollywood Reporter story also named Tim Allen, Kirstie Alley, Suzanne Somers and a gaggle of other celebrities who reportedly shot down the offers to go after the mirrorball trophy. Now, some celebrities like McHale are shooting back, saying they were never offered a spot.
'Home Improvement' star Allen said he was never offered. The manager of 'Three's Company' star Somers said the actress "did turn it down, but only because she is too busy."
Other celebrities approached include Jamie Lee Curtis and Ryan O'Neal. 'Dynasty' star Joan Collins reportedly approached the producers.
In that same Hollywood Reporter story, sources alleged Bristol Palin was behaving like a diva. Sarah Palin is not pleased. She took to Twitter in her daughter's defense: "Wow,media goofballs rearing heads this wk,big time!Wonder what's up?Taking the cake:ink re:Bristol=a diva? Silly;obviously have nvr met her."
