Thomas Hayden Church is an actor and director. He was a co-star in Sideways, for which he won an IFP Independent Spirit Award and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He isn't a particular fav of mine, but I have seen him before on talk shows and he has a very dry sense of humor. That's why I say he was joking.

I didn't even bother watching the video because I can't take this guy seriously. I mean they are shooting 18 miles away from his place. I have to laugh "When the production company forced residents to detour around the main street of little Utopia, Texas, Church said, "I drove by and I slowed down.
