'Big Brother' - Matt's Terrible Lie Is Revealed, Now He's "Going to Hell" (VIDEO)

'Big Brother' - Matt's Terrible Lie Is Revealed, Now He's 'Going to Hell'"Now that the game is over, I got no reason to lie; I want people to know the real Matt." These are the non-wise words of Matt Hoffman on the latest 'Big Brother' (Thu., 8PM ET on CBS).

For the first time this season, we got to peek inside the Jury House, where the eliminated contestants are sequestered. We thought the big excitement would be from seeing the reunion of insane lovebirds Brendon and Rachel. But actually, it was Matthew who supplied all the drama.

For some reason, Matt decided to reveal to his housemates that he had lied to them. This was done with the goal of showing them the "real Matt," but that was ... maybe not the best idea of all time. After all, the "real" Matt is kind of a weird scheming jerk. Maybe it's better not to reveal this to everyone.

At any rate, Matt goes ahead and exposes his horrific lie. Earlier in the season, Matt had told the other contestants that his wife had an obscure and dreadful bone disease. This was completely untrue -- Matt was just trying to get some sympathy from the other players, to increase his chances of winning the contest.

So with Brendon, Rachel, and Kathy all sitting around the table, Matt says this: "[My wife] couldn't be healthier and happier, and has never had a thing wrong with her." Matt is grinning and nodding the whole time, as though this is all hilarious -- but everyone else is totally appalled. "Man, you are going to hell," says Brendon.

But Kathy is even more upset with Matt. And with good reason: Kathy has actually had to struggle against cancer in her real life. She's enraged that Matt would make up a fake illness -- and we can't blame her for being mad. There's not a single thing that can be said in Matt's defense here.
