Chris Matthews Still Feels 'Thrill Up His Leg' When Obama Speaks (VIDEO)

On 'Hardball With Chris Matthews (Weekdays, 5PM ET on MSNBC) Tuesday, Matthews played a speech Obama made as a candidate for president. After hearing Obama's words, Matthews revisited a quote he famously made during the 2008 campaign, one that's often used as evidence that the media was in the bag for Obama during that election."I get the same thrill -- up my leg, all over me, every time I hear those words," Matthews gushed. "I'm sorry, ladies and gentleman, that's me."
Then, later in the segment, guest Jim Kessler made the mistake of referring to Matthews' famous thrill as a "tingle."
"It wasn't a tingle up my leg, that's what right-wing fascists say," Matthews said, sternly rebuking Kessler. "I got a thrill up my leg. You're reading the right-wing blogs."
The more you know.
