New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appeared on 'Morning Joe' (Weekdays, 6 AM ET on MSNBC) Tuesday, and predictably, the conversation turned toward his state's most popular exports: 'The Real Housewives' and 'Jersey Shore.'

Before quizzing him on his presidential aspirations, Mika Brzezinski asked the Republican about Monday night's big reconciliation between Danielle Staub and some of her castmates on 'The Real Housewives' reunion special.

"Another symbol of the Christie administration," Christie bragged, playing it straight. "Bringing people together."

"And Snooki moved out this weekend," Christie said, continuing his Garden State-themed reality TV update. "They're out of the 'Jersey Shore' house now. Summer's over ... so New Jersey is on the rise, baby. We're on the rise."

Bashing the orange-hued stars of Jersey Shore? There is no easier way for a politician to curry favor with all sides of this increasingly divided electorate. This guy is obviously running in 2012.
