Jay Leno and Chelsea Handler Flirt, Struggle With 'Sexual Tension' on 'The Tonight Show'Chelsea Handler was the guest on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). And while Chelsea was talking with Jay Leno, some sparks flew between the two rival talk show stars. Jay started out by congratulating Ms. Handler on her new gig as host of the MTV Video Music Awards. Chelsea said this in reply: "They were actually gonna ask you to do it, but then they realized you're too old." Ouch!

In response, Leno fired back with this: "Yeah, I didn't sleep with a guy [to get the job] either." Oh, snap! That's pretty harsh, coming from Jay. This was also a thinly veiled reference to the fact that Chelsea used to date the CEO of the E! Network, which led to rumors that she got her 'Chelsea Lately' job via having sex with the boss.

Speaking of sex, Jay attempted to steer Chelsea over to that topic during their interview ... and that's when things started to get weird. "I'm really good in bed," Handler told Jay, to massive applause from the crowd. But Leno seemed excessively interested in Chelsea's sexual prowess. He demanded to know what sort of compliments she got from her bedroom partners, which was a little awkward. (For the record, Chelsea said that guys called her "really flexible.")

Hmm. So we had some arguing, followed by an overly long discussion of "doing the nasty." So what exactly was happening here? It fell to Ken Jeong -- Jay's other guest on the show -- to point out what was totally obvious. "You guys have been fighting," he said. " ... Can't you see you guys love each other? There's so much sexual tension here."

Jeong ended with a recommendation that Jay and Handler "get it on." Which might not be the best advice, but hey -- Chelsea is currently single.
