'The Amazing Race,' perhaps more than any other reality show, offers its contestants the opportunity for unique injuries in far-off, stunning locales. This clip from the upcoming season may be the first televised self-Gallagherization in history.

This scene from the upcoming season 17, which debuts Sept. 26, has already gained some traction on the Web since CBS released it Tuesday. Two Amazing Racers are attempting the traditional "knock the knight's head off with a watermelon and large slingshot" when something goes horribly, horribly wrong.

And... melon to the face. Painful to watch, but this poor women has to finish the task. "They don't call it the Amazing Race for nothing." Indeed.
