Jon Stewart Misses John McCain, Gives Daughter Meghan a Letter For Him (VIDEO)

Jon Stewart has a message for Sen. John McCain that he'd like his daughter to pass along. It's more than a message, really. More like a love letter.

On 'The Daily Show' (weeknights, 11PM ET on COM), Stewart asked author Meghan McCain to read the note aloud. "'I miss you so much, baby, please. I promise things will be different. -- Jon,'" McCain read, through a stream of giggles.

"I just miss him so much," explained Stewart. Apparently McCain visited the show in 2007 but "then suddenly he got nominated for president, and then he thought, 'I don't like Jon Stewart anymore.'" Maybe this gesture will change the senator's mind.
