You skipped his 'Saturday Night Live' episode and avoided entertainment news headlines with his name, figuring he's just the flavor of the month and will soon fade back into the Great White North. Hey, it worked with Avril Lavigne and Sum 41.

But just accept the fact that JBiebz ain't going anywhere. He makes up 3 percent of Twitter's traffic and is the reason your children, nieces and nephews will now want to watch 'CSI' with you.

The 16-year old will make his dramatic acting debut Thu., Sept. 23 on CBS's flagship drama. Is this a publicity stunt? Maybe. The show's ratings dipped lower last season than ever before, but they're still respectable.

Or maybe Bieber is actually a good actor? In this sneak peak of the episode, he does seem to hold his own against veteran actor George Eads. He admitted in an interview with MTV that he did have trouble remembering his lines. You can almost see him reaching for a couple here and his final warning does fall a bit flat. However, overall, we're looking forward to seeing more.
