James CameronSay what you want about remakes and reboots, sometimes they're just destined to be amazing. Take, for example, today's news that James Cameron is adapting his 1994 Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring movie, 'True Lies,' for the small screen. Could this be anything short of awesome?

Deadline Hollywood reports that the undisputed king of the box office is turning his focus toward primetime television. Cameron dabbled in TV with the two-season drama 'Dark Angel,' but is looking to return to the medium with an adaptation of his hit 1994 movie.

Rene Echevarria, who executive produced 'Dark Angel,' will take the showrunner role, and will executive produce along with Cameron, Rae Sanchini and Jon Landau.

'True Lies' starred Schwarzenegger as a secret agent whose wife (Jamie Lee Curtis) and daughter (Eliza Dushku) think he's a boring computer salesman.

Would you watch a TV version of 'True Lies'?

I always wished Cameron would do a Dark Angel movie with Jessica Alba back. The 1st season of Dark Angel was great, and the 2nd definitely had it's struggles but finished up good I thought. I was disappointed when Fox didn't renew it.
