Kaley Cuoco Breaks Leg, Will Miss Taping of 'The Big Bang Theory'
It's been reported that Kaley Cuoco broke her leg Saturday and will miss today's taping of 'The Big Bang Theory.'
According to TMZ, Cuoco broke her leg in a horse-riding accident and is recovering in a hospital in the Los Angeles area. Her character will be written out of the episode taping later today, and then production on the show is believed to be taking a scheduled weeklong hiatus.
There's no word yet on how long she'll be laid up for, but if her injury is serious then more episodes of the show will be rewritten around her.
'The Big Bang Theory' premiered on CBS in fall 2007 and the third season has been a big hit for the network, climbing up the ratings into the Top 20. The sitcom follows two brilliant but socially awkward scientific geiunses at CalTech. Cuoco plays Penny, their attractive neighbour who tries to help them deal with life outside the lab.
'The Big Bang Theory' Season 4 premieres Sept. 23, 8PM ET on CBS.
