Don Rickles Attacks Craig Ferguson ... and His Audience (VIDEO)

"Insult comic" Don Rickles made a guest appearance tonight on 'The Late Late Show' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS). The comedian may be 84 years old, but he hasn't lost any of his passion for being rude. First, he and Craig Ferguson discussed how Craig and his wife are expecting a baby. Rickles attempted to laugh at Ferguson's baby-related jokes, but then he got a bit of a wicked gleam in his eyes."Isn't he great?" Don said to the audience. "Dynamite; everything he says [is] dynamite." Craig caught on to the sarcasm fairly quickly. "Sometimes when you do that, I just don't think you're being sincere."
"You're right!" Rickles quipped. Then, he clarified even further. " ... I DON'T LIKE YOU," he said to the host. Well. That's nice and clear.
At this point, Don moved on to insulting the studio audience. He attacked one crowd member for being fat -- then turned against the man's father, insinuating that the father was so old that he was nearly dead. Craig attempted to close things out with a type of standard disclaimer; always a good idea, when Rickles is around: "CBS in no way endorses the views of Mr. Don Rickles." "Aah, they oughta," Don replied.
