Clickable: The Internet Never Forgets

by Ryan McKee, posted Sep 17th 2010 5:00PM
For years, entertainment shows would dedicate entire hours to finding photos of celebrities before they were stars. We got to see high school yearbook photos of the 'Friends' cast or a candid shot of George Clooney with a mullet. And we'd marvel at how normal they looked and gasp, "Wow, celebrities really are just like us."

The Internet has pretty much killed those shows since now anyone can do a few Google searches and come up with their own montage of crazy celebrity photos. But the Tumblr blog The Internet Never Forgets has done an excellent job of not only finding photos of celebrities before they were stars, but some of the most embarrassing.

The photos are also all professionally shot. They're not bad yearbook photos or random pictures snapped at a college keg party. These are headshots, modeling gigs and promotional work where someone actually dressed and posed them. Not only that, but a number of people approved it.

So far there are only two pages on the blog, but just about everything is gold. Check out Ian Somerhalder in a variety of bad fashion choices from different decades, Matthew Fox posing in cheap clothing catalog and Robert Pattinson ... well, you just have to see the photo to believe it.
