As an homage to Lady Gaga's meat dress from the VMAs, Kate Walsh appeared in a sushi and sashimi dress on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). She accessorized with fish meat on her sunglasses, a tuna sushi-roll ring and prawns draped over her heels.

Walsh said she was on a plane during the MTV Video Music Awards. But a Twitter fan helpfully sent her an image of Lady Gaga's dress. "The first thought that I had was like, 'A nice plate of prosciutto with melon,' thinking that's kind of witty," said Walsh. But it "opened up a whole can of whoop-ass" from the performer's Little Monsters disciples.

For the record, the actress is "a huge fan of Lady Gaga." And Jay Leno was a huge fan of the dress. "This is the first time I thought I would really enjoy having sushi," he joked.
