If you're not up on your United Kingdom TV news, you might've overlooked the pilot of David Cross's new TV show 'The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.' The episode aired in the U.K. as a part of the Channel 4 series 'Comedy Showcase,' and then leaked online (as those things typically do).

Luckily, IFC has picked up the series and planned a proper U.S. television premiere on Oct. 1. But since the pilot is already in cyberspace, the channel decided to throw the entire thing up online -- if you can't beat the pirates, join 'em. The first season is only six episodes long, so it's best for the network to get as many viewers hooked as early as possible.

'Mr. Show' co-creator David Cross created and stars in 'TIPDOTM,' and co-wrote the series with Shaun Pye, an English comedian known for 'Monkey Dust' and 'Extras.' The show is about an American office temp, Todd Margaret, who bluffs his way into a senior sales position at the London branch of Thunder Muscle energy drink -- that company name must sound very "David-Crossian" to fans.

The pilot seems a little hit or miss. However, the show does re-team Cross with 'Arrested Development' co-star Will Arnett, old comedy pal Janeane Garofalo and supposedly director Spike Jonze. Don't take our word for it though -- set aside 22 minutes and see for yourself.
