Kristen Bell Admits to Being a 'Jersey Shore' "Super-Fan" (VIDEO)

Some people really do like 'Jersey Shore.' (We'll confess to kind of liking it ourselves.) On the other hand, some people really really hate the guido-and-guidette-based show. But even if you are a secret fan of the series, you may be hesitant about admitting this fact in polite society. Liking the 'Shore' is vaguely shameful -- it's considered akin to having bad cultural taste, like admitting that you're a big fan of "Hamburger Helper," fake rhinestones, or Bedazzling.But luckily, actress Kristen Bell doesn't suffer from any major social inhibitions. And so, on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), she gleefully confesses to being a 'Jersey Shore' "super-fan." "I'm wildly obsessed with the show," Bell gushes. She's seen every episode, and even admits to watching them twice.
It seems that the cast of 'Jersey Shore' was backstage with Chelsea Handler tonight -- so like a giddy schoolgirl, Bell seized the opportunity to hang out with her heroes. But this isn't even the first time that Kristen has stalked the 'Shore' crew. Previously, while shooting an episode of 'The Rachael Ray Show,' Bell crept into the cast's dressing room and had her photo taken with Vinny, "The Situation," and DJ Pauly D.
Embarrassingly, when Kristen came in the room, Snooki didn't recognize the star of 'Veronica Mars' and 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall.' "Whydaya look familah?" Snooki said to Ms. Bell, in her inimitable Poughkeepsie accent.
Wow. That's when you know the 'Shore' has achieved a weird level of cultural dominance -- when Snooki puts on airs and can't even recognize a famous actress like Kristen Bell. But Kristen's level of fandom is so great that she tried to apologize for being less well-known than the cast. "Why would they know who I am?" she said.
