'Lost' Star Michael Emerson 'Still Reeling' About New Series with Terry O'Quinn

Terry O'Quinn, Michael EmersonWe're pretty excited about the new Michael Emerson/Terry O'Quinn series that's in the works at NBC.

Pretty much every 'Lost' fan is giddy at the thought of Ben Linus and John Locke reuniting as ex-spies in a comedic drama from J.J. Abrams. Why should Emerson himself be any different?

The 'Lost' veteran told Entertainment Weekly via email that he's "still reeling from the sudden turn of events."

You see, the two Emmy-winning actors started floating around the show proposal as a joke. Pretty soon the media -- yes, us included -- picked up the story and, well, now they have a pilot at NBC.

"I really am AMAZED that what started out as some kidding-around on the set of 'Lost' has turned into a network TV reality!" Emerson said via email to EW. "I'm an actor who has never even succeeded in testing for a pilot and here I find myself involved in a project custom-built for Terry and me!

"But best of all will be that day when Terry and I show up on the set of a brand new show, look around, shrug our shoulders and say 'Let's get started!' My fingers are crossed!"

We're right there with you, Michael.

PS: How adorable is that picture of the two of them?

If this show does well, and I hope it does, I can just imagine all the special (lost) guest stars they'll get. I'm giddy with the possibilities.
