Katy Perry on 'Saturday Night Live': Nice Elmo Shirt (VIDEO)

Katy Perry performed on 'Saturday Night Live' in the 36th season premiere, which was hosted by Amy Poehler. The singer belted out two of her songs, and also showed up in a sketch tweaking Perry's 'Sesame Street' controversy.

Perry was cut from the TV broadcast when her ample cleavage outraged some parents. On 'Good Morning America' last week, Elmo said Perry was welcome back for another "play date."

In the 'Bronx Beat' sketch, Perry wore a low-cut Elmo shirt as her character, Maureen DiChico, showed off just how much she'd grown up over the summer.
