Lawrence O'Donnell Blames Snooki for America's Public Education Crisis (VIDEO)

by Jeremy Taylor, posted Sep 27th 2010 4:11PM
It hasn't been a good day for Snooki. First Radar Online broke the news that the 'Jersey Star' almost died from alcohol poisoning in May, and then Lawrence O'Donnell got on 'Morning Joe' (Weekdays, 6 AM ET on MSNBC) and blamed her and her housemates for the educational crisis in America.

"I think Snooki highlights the problem in public education, O'Donnell explained. "She had fine teachers, she went to the finest schools, and look where she's ended up ... You can't blame the teachers for everything."

"Think about Snooki, seriously," O'Donnell continued, indicating the he was making a real point, not just a flip pop cultural quip. "When we talk about teachers, and we try to lay all the blame on them ... watch 'Jersey Shore,' watch it. And tell me what teacher could possibly have reached any one of them, to get any one of their scores up, in any subject."

But why stop there? Isn't the 'Jersey Shore' cast also responsible for the housing crisis and nuclear proliferation?
