Treat WilliamsLifetime fans are in for a Treat -- a Treat Williams that is.

The 'Everwood' and 'Heartland' star has been tapped to star in the pilot of 'Against the Wall.' According to Deadline Hollywood, Williams will play dad to Rachel Carpani in the pilot about a policewoman who causes a rift between her family after joining the internal affairs department.

Williams' character is described as an old-school Chicago cop who loves his only daughter, but when she joins internal affairs he feels hurt and angry.

In other casting news ...

'Glee' boss Ryan Murphy has confirmed Gwyneth Paltrow's appearance on the hit Fox comedy. Paltrow will play a substitute teacher whom Mr. Schuester falls for, and she'll have three or four solo songs. [Us Weekly]

Rob Riggle has been tapped to appear on 'Chuck.' Before you groan about yet another stunt casting, he won't be playing Greta. Riggle will guest star as Jim Rye, a CIA operative brought in to help Chuck become a better spy. Look for him in episode 8 with Summer Glau. [Ausiello Files]

Sonia Braga will guest star on 'Brothers & Sisters.' The 'Alias' star will play mom to Gilles Marini in the Thanksgiving episode airing Nov. 14. [TV Guide]

Will Justin Bieber add 'Glee' to his acting resume? Lea Michele sure hopes so. "I don't know about Justin Bieber coming on the show, but he would be awesome," she said. [E! Online]
