Julianna Margulies Talks About the New Season of 'The Good Wife' (VIDEO)

Juliana MarguliesWho should Alicia choose on 'The Good Wife'? Julianna Margulies was on 'The Early Show' (weekdays at 7AM ET on CBS) to talk about the new season of the show, which premieres tonight at 10PM on CBS, and gave a few interesting facts to host Harry Smith.

From what she's heard from fans, younger viewers tend to think she should go with her boss, Will (Josh Charles), while older people -- and all men -- think she should stay with her cheater husband Peter (Chris North). Everyone else thinks she should still be with Doug Ross.

She also talks about the upcoming guest appearance by Michael J. Fox, who will be playing a lawyer with Parkinson's.

I think that she does the role well. I see the character as a cold fish with little if any emotion. That is what is coming thru to me. I see her as one of the wives that can't figure out why her husband would cheat on her as she is so perfect in all ways but an emotional attachment. Myself...been married for almost 50 years now so I guess that I have been the "good wife."

One of my favorite shows. She should dump the husband and go have fun. (it's not like hubby wasn't out having fun) I think she will choose to stay with the cheater otherwise they would have to change the name of the show.

It was a great series -- during the first 3 episodes. Then it tanked big time from there.

I was so disappointed that she did not choose Will, her boss. I think it was a ploy to string the viewers along and in time she will find out her ex's lawyer deleted Will's call. Bad call, she should have gone with Will.

Margulies isn't much of an actress. She does not emote, ever. She may be a nice lady but she has no expression to speak of.

The fact that the character would even consider the Ex has me tuning out of this series again. I was slow to watch in the first place because the whole "Good Wife" concept was a total turn off.

What EX are you speaking of? When was a divorce written into the story? How did I miss that? Light bulb moment for you....just because a coupelis having marital discord does not mean that they are divorced...As I recall in season one....she did talk to a divorce lawyer but did not follow thru on a divorce.... Also, what is wrong with working a bad situation out and keeping a marriage together.
