He's hosted a talk show, written an Italian cookbook, starred on Broadway and tackled TV roles like a true boss. So what's Tony Danza's latest gig? Teaching 10th grade English in Philadelphia.

In 'Teach: Tony Danza' (premieres Fri., Oct. 1, 10PM ET on A&E), the 'Taxi' and 'Who's the Boss?' alum decides to go back to school (he does have a degree in education for anyone curious about his qualifications) to try his hand in the classroom.

I caught up with Danza to hear how his students reacted on his first day (the 15- and 16-year-olds were born years after 'Boss' ended in 1992), what he learned from this experience and what made him laughingly call a student "schmo." Then I got to take a look at that famous mug -- dimples, distinguished gray hair and all -- in his new high school yearbook.
