Today is National Coffee Day, and in honor of this momentous non-holiday, we wanted to salute one of TV's all-time coffee drinks: Lorelai Gilmore.

On 'The Gilmore Girls,' Lorelai (Lauren Graham) always needed coffee right now and often stopped by Luke's Diner for her fix. Her addiction to caffeine was established in the very first episode, when she begged friend Luke Danes for a coffee and he told her she had a problem.

But we've also noticed that Graham's character in 'Parenthood' is also a coffee fiend. Could the addiction perhaps be inspired by the actress' real life?
