Levi Johnston Gets Quizzed With Katie Couric's Infamous Sarah Palin Questions (VIDEO)

by Jeremy Taylor, posted Sep 29th 2010 3:47PM
Levi Johnston, who's running for Sarah Palin's old job of mayor of Wasilla, Alaska was a guest Tuesday on 'The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell' (weekdays, 10 PM ET on Fox News,) and O'Donnell gave the wannabe politician quite a grilling.

"What newspaper and magazines do you read regularly?" O'Donnell asked, before asking Johnston questions about global warming, the morning after pill, evolution, the housing crisis, the war in Afghanistan and whether America should engage with its enemies.

Johnston was able to answer some of the questions, and candidly passed on others with responses such as, "You're kind of getting over my head."

After the interview was done, O'Donnell revealed he asked Johnston the exact same questions Katie Couric did Sarah Palin in their notoriously awkward interview during the 2008 presidential campaign.

We'll take this to mean that Johnston's struggles to answers some of the inquiries shouldn't disqualify him from being mayor of Wasilla. As Sarah Palin showed two years ago, these are topics that clearly don't come up during the day-to-day administration of the small town.
