'Jersey Shore' Washes Up In Italy

by AOL TV Staff, posted Sep 30th 2010 2:30PM

I learned a lot of Italian while on vacation in Italy last week by watching 'Jersey Shore' and paying close attention to the Italian subtitles. I was dying to find out what Italians think of the show, by the way, but I couldn't find one person who would admit to watching it. And no, 'Jersey Shore' is called just that in Italy, so nowhere near as unintentionally offensive as Japan's 'The New Jersey Life of Macaroni Rascals.'

(According to Google Translate, The Situation seems to be saying, "I saw JWoww training to kick and punch in the gym." Of course.)
