Jason Ritter is Left Scarred by 'The Event' (VIDEO)

According to Jason Ritter, starring in 'The Event' isn't all fun and games. The show's many action sequences can take a toll on an actor's body, and he's got the scars to prove it, he said on 'Rachael Ray' (weekdays, syndicated).

"We do all these fun stunts things that remind me of, you know, when I was a kid running around with a pretend gun," Ritter said. "And then we wipe off all of the fake blood and then I see what's fake and what's real."

Then, Ritter pulls up the sleeve of his jacket, proudly revealing a bright pink scar on his forearm. "It's fun," he added. "It's really invigorating."
