Beyonce makes a surprise appearance as a fashion model as mother Tina Knowles showcases her clothing line on the fourth hour of 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC).

After Beyonce struts onto the stage, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb invite her to sit down, then the singer explains her involvement in the show. "She always is my biggest supporter," Beyonce said of her mother. "So, I was very excited to do this for her."

Then, Gifford asks Beyonce to reveal the single most important piece of advice her mother ever gave her. "Definitely that beauty fades, and you have to be beautiful from within," she said.
