Julie Chen strolled onto the 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS) stage with a video camera, and filmed herself hugging host David Letterman. She explained that for the new mom's roundtable show 'The Talk,' "We're given homework assignments where we have to Flip Video things that happen in our life outside of the studio."

He didn't seem too thrilled about being included in the requirement, but his job is in the hands of Chen's husband -- CBS President Leslie Moonves.

Speaking of, Moonves' birthday was that very day. When Letterman asked Chen how old he was, she smirked: "You and I both want to keep our jobs. You know better, Dave." He said, "But let's just say when you bring out the cake with the candles, is the fire department standing by?"
