'Women of SNL' Special Adds Original Content From Tina Fey, Nora Dunn, Cheri Oteri and More

Delicious DishThe stars are aligning for NBC's 'Women of SNL' special.

The Peacock has tapped Tina Fey, Nora Dunn, Rachel Dratch, Laraine Newman, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Cheri Oteri, Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig to create new content for the special honoring the female cast members of 'Saturday Night Live.'

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new material will supplement the Nov. 1 clip special that is a sort of follow-up to last season's epic Betty White-hosted episode.

With this many talented actresses created new material it's very easy to fantasize about sketches we want revived. 'Delicious Dish' anybody?

Absolutely--and I'd add Lorraine Newman into that mix. And they ought to have a moment of silence or something for Gilda. She was the best ever!

I'd like to see Cheri Oteri do Barbara Walters, Nadeen (simmer down now!), and Rita DelVecchio. Is it possible to get Will Ferrell and do a cheerleaders skit because that would be awesome! I also hope to see Bronx Beat, Hilary Clinton and Sarah Palin, Ana Gasteyer's Martha Stewart, Mary Katherine Gallagher, Maya's Versace, and Debbie Downer. Where's Jan Hooks, Jane Curtin, Victoria Jackson, and Julia Sweeney??

"Delicious Dish" is one of my favorite recurring skits ever, but I wish they'd run one other than Baldwin's or White's. I remember one with Danny DeVito that took place after an apocalypse!

I'm of the belief that Nora Dunn and Jan Hooks were the best actresses EVER on SNL, and if Ms. Hooks can't be there live, we HAVE to see a "Sweeney Sisters" sketch. I'd also love to see Mary Gross again.
