It's Official: Andy Richter Joins 'Conan'

Max Weinberg may not be joining Conan O'Brien on the comedian's new TBS talk show, but Coco's other sidekick will sit loyally by his side when 'Conan' premieres on Nov. 8.

TBS announced today that Andy Richter will, in fact, join his best bud Conan on 'Conan.'

"I'm thrilled to be going back to work with Conan, and very excited to start a whole new venture on TBS,'" Richter said in a press release. "However, I am mostly looking forward to getting out of the house again."

For his part, O'Brien announced that "This decision was made without my authority. I will get to the bottom of this."

Richter and O'Brien first teamed up in September of 1993 when 'Late Night With Conan O'Brien' premiered, and continued their partnership on O'Brien's short-lived 'Tonight Show' hosting stint and the live 'Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour.'
