'Jersey Shore' star DJ Pauly D has the greatest hair that we have ever seen. Okay, that's not true. He actually has a mixture of the "bad guy in 'Rocky IV'," haircut combined with the "bad 80s rapper" haircut. But Pauly uses way more gel and hairspray ... because he's representing for the "guido" lifestyle.

On 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), Pauly D reveals that his hair-related awesomeness doesn't come easily. It takes a lot of work to create the perfect, oil-soaked ... enormous weird thing on his head. Mr. "D" tells Jay Leno that if he doesn't spend 25 minutes a day primping and styling, then his natural "look" is a floppy "Justin Bieber-style" hairdo.

Hair isn't the only thing that Pauly D spends excessive amounts of time on. He and his fellow reality show castmates also waste too much time making up catchphrases in their own bizarre 'Jersey Shore' language. But since he's a nice guy, Pauly translates some of the 'Shore' slang for the benefit of Mr. Leno.

Initially, Jay is baffled by 'Shore' terms like "creeping" and "smooshing." Next, the always classy Pauly D explains the concept of a "grenade" -- which means "a really ugly girl" that you see in a nightclub. Somehow, Leno instantly gets this one. The host then asks this question: "As the clock gets closer to midnight [in the club], does a 'grenade' suddenly become a 'flower'?" Pauly laughs -- as he and Leno share a male-bonding moment. Hey, Jay and Pauly D are on the same page! They should go clubbing together and hit on some "guidettes."
