Actor and producer extraordinaire Samuel L. Jackson is taking his talents to The CW. Yep, The CW.According to Variety, Jackson and writer/executive producer David Loughery are developing a detective drama at the female-oriented network.
The project, 'Hackshaw,' follows a young twentysomething man who believes he's a relative of Sherlock Holmes or is actually the great detective. The main character's psychiatrist believes he suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder.
A young police officer, the sister of the psychiatrist, learns Hackshaw can help her solve crimes. Look for lots of sexual tension and perhaps a love triangle between Hackshaw, the police officer and the psychiatrist.
So, it's like 'Cupid,' but with guns and stuff?
Jackson is executive producing the project through his UppiTV unit. Amanda Tracey of UppiTV is also an executive producer.
Tell us: Would you give 'Hackshaw' a shot?
