Jenny McCarthy: I See Dead People -- Not (VIDEO)
No one is immune to insecurity, no matter how beautiful or rich. Just ask Jenny McCarthy, who revealed to Nate Berkus on 'The Nate Berkus Show' (weekdays, syndicated) how she invented the existence of ghosts to overcome her insecurity in a relationship.McCarthy was living with "Paul" (not his real name) in Los Angeles but she didn't feel like she belonged there: It was his house and his stuff. She was feeling insecure and wanted to redecorate his house so that she could feel more "at home" -- so she tried to manipulate him by telling him that his house was haunted.
"I don't know if you know this but I can tell when things are haunted and that antique furniture you have -- there are dead people sitting on it," she told him in the hopes he would allow her to buy new furniture. This went on for three years until "Paul" broke down and relented. Did she redecorate? There's not a ghost of a chance that we'll spill the beans -- watch the clip.
