Bristol Palin Wears a Gorilla Suit on 'Dancing With the Stars' (VIDEO)

Bristol Palin Wears a Monkey Suit on 'Dancing With the Stars'It's TV theme song week on 'Dancing With the Stars' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC). Tonight, one dancer really went bananas. She monkeyed around. She was the gorilla-of-our-dreams. (Okay, we're done with the puns now.)

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas came out in monkey costumes, and did a jive dance to the theme from 'The Monkees.' Bristol has been criticized for not showing enough personality on the dance floor. But when dressed in a full bodysuit, she was a lot less uptight.

She and Ballas had fun out there -- but the judges felt the costumes came off too quickly. Once Palin removed her monkey suit, revealing a normal pink dress, her performance seemed to go downhill. "I'd have liked you to have kept [the suits] on a bit longer!" Len Goodman said.

Bruno Tonioli loved the "Gorillas in the Twist," but he and Carrie Ann Inaba agreed that Palin was awkward. She may have hurt her chances by having to change outfits mid-dance. "You forgot a lot of the [dance] moves!" Inaba said. In the end, Palin and Ballas got the lowest score of the night -- an 18 out of 30. Now, they might be eliminated. Did you think the judges were too hard on Bristol?

Bristol Palin can not dance at all. Why is she still on the show? DTWS is a joke!!! Its just a popularity contest. Apparently, talent has nothing to do with winning. I guess her mother's admirers are voting for her because no one with good sense will.

All you people bad mouthing Bristol are just trying to redeem yourselves for voting in the worst President this country has ever seen, maybe with one exception, Jimmy Carter. Bristol IS in over her head on this show but she knows it. Obama has put us in the hole in two years as Bush did in eight years, and we all know he wasn't the best. Get over yourselves, it is just a TV show. The other thing is the life or death of our country. Think about it, then attack me, seems to be the way dems work.

This show is so fixed. How can they say Bristol Money is safe after such a bad dance. She tripped over her own feet!!!!! I guess Sarah Palin will take credit for this...

Awww for chrissakes..enough with all this crap about the no-talent palin chick. She STINKS..if you disagree you need your eyes checked. She is TERRIBLE..hey Peggy..notice I use the capital letters for emphasis..why the hell do you need to screech out all your words. Chill out for gawds sake! Nobody cares what the hell you think anyhow... or as far at that goes..what any of us think. We are just giving our opinions..and unless you live under a rock you all know what an "opinion" is and that we all have one..hpefully she will be kicked off tonight. WE HOPE! As for Florence Henderson, she IS a class act. 76 years old and what gorgeous legs she still has, PLUS she is over and above anything and everything the palin chick does. Palin stinks and Henderson rocks. I only hope when I'm 76 I can move like she does. At 19 palin barely moves at all. It like she had a stick up her rear and she can only robot walk..lol..

1. Bristol Palin is not a "star" and hence the name Dancing with the Stars becomes Dancing with the people they think will bring ratings...or, Dancing with Parents of children out of wedlock, they could put Paladino on next.

2. she's lucky her mother didn't mistake her for a creature and shoot and gut her from a helicopter...

3. as for those who want to say "give her a break" if you don't want to be criticized...DON'T FRICKIN GO ON NATIONAL TV WHERE THE SHOW IS ABOUT BEING CRITICIZED FOR YOUR DANCING OR LACK OF IT...SHE'S FAIR GAME JUST BY BEING ON THE SHOW

They ought to do a show about the myths of religion and the existence of god that some of us unfortunate children had to believe in growing up. Making a child learn about religion is child abuse! Case closed!
