Regis Gives Pee-wee Herman a Tour of New York on 'Regis and Kelly' (VIDEO)

Regis Philbin gives Pee-wee Herman a tour of New York that turns out badly for both of them on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated).

First, Philbin and Herman bang on the backstage door of the Ed Sullivan Theater, but, sadly, David Letterman doesn't appear. "Terribly disappointed. What kind of tour of New York is this? They have this thing called 'calling ahead,' Regis!" complained Herman.

Then, the two visit M&M's World where Pee-wee accidentally spills a bag of candy all over the sidewalk. Finally, Philbin tries to buy a ticket for Herman's Broadway show. But Herman, who somehow slips into the ticket booth, denies him a professional discount.

"Just for the record, we did call ahead to David and maybe that's why the door was locked," said Philbin.

Regis is pathetic and obnoxious. He thinks that he is funny being loud and crass. No class. The best thing that he could do to make amends is to drink Jim Jones Kool-Aid on tv and do mankind a favor. The Democrats and RHINOS should join him as well.

Regis will do anything for a photo op and to make more money. This definitely has gotten attention. Otherwise, why would he even associate with a sex pervert?

I can see why Regis wouldn't know Paul Reubens was convicted after being arrested in 2001 for "possession of child porn with intent to distribute" but how could his staff not know? You'd have to be nuts to hang out with this sicko. This is not the arrest a decade before where he got caught in the adult theater. This case had a young, male victim.
