Jackie Evancho Would Like to Sing With Lady GagaSince appearing on 'America's Got Talent,' 10-year-old opera prodigy Jackie Evancho has become famous. She'll be singing at Carnegie Hall -- making her the youngest solo female singer to perform there. Jackie also has her first major-label CD coming out, and it's already number one on Amazon.com.

On 'Oprah' (weekdays, syndicated), Oprah Winfrey asked Jackie how she's dealing with all this fame. Evancho is only in 5th grade, but she seems grounded. But she also has big dreams -- including a collaboration with an artist who wears a "meat dress."

First, Oprah wanted to know what Jackie's favorite subject is in school. Jackie replied that she likes writing in "every genre." Winfrey smiled at the precociousness. "Every 'genre,'" she said. "Of course." The host then asked Jackie who she would most want to sing with. Jackie said she'd like to perform with traditional singers like Josh Groban and Charlotte Church, and then listed an unexpected choice.

"Lady Gaga," she said. Oprah noted that performing with Ms. Gaga would indeed be a different musical "genre," but she thought the young singer could make it work. And a 10-year-old singing opera with the meat-dress-wearing Lady Gaga sounds pretty good to us.

Carnegie Hall was canceled.!!! A few comments I have read on blogs predicted this would happen. They do not want to subject this girl to any place with credentials or live orchestra. They are really starting to fall suspect to the rumors of her voice being artificially enginered and using publicity stunts just to sell CDs.

THANK GOD THE NEGATATIVE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN THE PEOPLE THAT CAN FIND FAULT WITH HEAVEN. GET A LIFE, YOU MISERABLE, CREATURES, FIND SOME GOOD BEFORE THEY NAIL THE BOX SHUT ON YOU. NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR YOUR NEGATATIVE CRAP. TO SEE THIS CHILD OF UNBLIEABLE TALENT, AND POISE, IS SO VERY SMART, SHE WILL BE IDOLIZED FOREVER. AND OPERA, WELL SHE IS THE BEST.

Jackie is a credit to her generation and a credit to America, she is our new symbol of what is good and desirable in this country. This girl will someday be the star sensation opera (and other of course 'genras' LOL) singer. I hope that she goes all the way which is not that far away. Good Luck Jackie and God bless you!

They just couldn't leave well enough alone, and had to "tart up" a 10 year old. Oh, my god! She almost had as much makeup on as Oprah. She looked nothing like she did on AGT. She look 15 or 16. Poor little girl. Goodbye childhood - hello to the world of the Hollywood tramps. Oprah has to be the absolute worst interviewer who has ever been on television. She is horrible! And after all these years. You would think she would have learned how to prepare and properly interview a guest. Thank god that she will be off mainstream t.v. soon - but not soon enough! And why the heck would they put on Debbie Boone. She can't sing, and sounded terrible. The "one hit wonder".

Jackie has an "angelic" voice. I was very disgusted when she did not win.I definitely will buy her CD and looking forward to see her concert. She is a very talented and classy young lady. I pray to GOD her fame will not go over her head. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS !!!!!

This little girl is so precious...i hope that she stays that way for a loooooooong time....she likes Lady Gaga.
