George W. BushTalk show queen Oprah Winfrey has snagged the first daytime interview with George W. Bush.

Though Matt Lauer will sit down with the ex-president in a primetime special airing Mon., Nov. 8, the following day's 'Oprah Winfrey Show' will be dedicated to all things Dubya.

According to the New York Times, not only will Oprah interview Bush, she will also talk to his parents and air footage from an exclusive visit to the Bush compound it Kennebunkport, Maine.

Tue., Nov. 9, the day of the 'Oprah' Bush special, marks the release of the 43rd president's new book, 'Decision Points.' The memoir details major decisions in Bush's life, including "gripping, never-before-heard detail" about the 2000 election, the Sept. 11 attacks and more, according to Crown Publishers.

"Since leaving the Oval Office, President Bush has given virtually no interviews or public speeches about his presidency," Crown said in a statement. "Instead, he has spent almost every day writing 'Decision Points,' a strikingly personal and candid account revealing how and why he made the defining decisions in his consequential presidency and personal life."
